    open-air shower
    nature experience

Recommended for families seeking unique experiences

The open-air shower was a game changer for me, I never thought taking a shower could feel so liberating while immersed in nature. Each night, the sounds of tree frogs serenaded us to sleep, it was like a soundtrack to our stay that made everything feel magical.

It wasn't cheap but the experience made it worth it.

    ocean view
    well-equipped kitchen

How it stacks up, my honest take

This place is a treasure! Enjoyed a stunning ocean view from my room and the perks of a well-equipped kitchen. The shared spaces were clean and inviting. Breakfast vouchers to a local bakery were a delightful touch! An excellent value for anyone seeking a memorable experience amidst beautiful nature.

    jungle location
    communal vibe
    shared spaces
    bugs around

The lush jungle location felt magical, and the communal vibe fostered great conversations. However, the shared spaces were not as clean as expected, and maintaining comfort in the heat proved challenging with some bugs around. Overall, it’s a unique and intriguing experience if you embrace the rustic side of it.

Great shower and well-equipped kitchen, but outdoor space could use more seating.

Had a fantastic 2-night stay! Loved the hammocks and the stunning outdoor shower with a view. However, the mosquitoes were a common annoyance at night. I'd definitely return!

    breakfast vouchers
    mountain view
    shared bathroom cleanliness

nice view but room cleanliness could improve

The complimentary breakfast vouchers for a nearby bakery were a delightful touch. We also appreciated the ability to borrow beach equipment, which made our family outings much easier. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain view each morning was a highlight of our stay, truly setting a peaceful tone.

The shared bathroom wasn't as clean as we would have liked, which detracted from our overall experience.

Outdoor shower with a view is amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The road to get there is really bumpy and narrow. Enjoyed the movie nights and great local plants around the guesthouse.

    panoramic ocean views
    welcoming atmosphere
    spacious design
    steep stairs
    shared bathroom

I loved the beautiful, spacious design of the common areas and the welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to feel at home. The panoramic ocean views from the deck were absolutely breathtaking, providing a perfect place to unwind.

Steep stairs could be challenging for seniors.

    stunning view
    comfortable bed

Ideal choice for a quick stopover in Pepeekeo with good value considering the price charged. The view from our upstairs room was beautiful, and the breeze was refreshing. Consider bringing earplugs if noise is an issue.

    clean shared spaces
    outdoor shower
    gorgeous views
    thin room doors
    limited privacy

The stay was quite enjoyable, particularly due to the connection with nature and the relaxing vibe. The shared spaces were clean and well-maintained, and I loved taking a bath in the outdoor shower while soaking in the gorgeous views. The waterfall nearby added an extra layer of beauty to the experience. Excellent communication made it easy to navigate the local area.

    comfy bed
    ocean view
    clean bathroom
    daytime heat
    limited kitchen use

The king room I stayed in was super comfy, especially the bed. The view of the ocean was a huge plus—honestly, breathtaking. The shared bathroom felt clean, and it was nice that I only had to share with one other room. The little kitchen area looked well-equipped, but I didn't really use it. Just a heads up, it can get a bit hot during the day, but it cools down at night. Overall, a great space to relax after a day of exploring.
